With respect to the current developments and situation taking place in Ukraine, Atmedia sales house, which currently represents almost 30 thematic TV channels on our market, has come to a decision to free up some of their media inventory on a selected amount of their TV channels for a TV campaign in support of Ukraine. “We feel no indifference towards the ongoing circumstances in Ukraine, and this move shall serve as an assertion of our solidarity with the Ukrainian citizens, not to mention that it is an expression to condemn Russian invasion of sovereign nation,” manifests Michaela Suráková, Atmedia’s Managing Director.

The Pomáháme Ukrajině’ (Helping Ukraine) TV campaign was produced by under the auspices of AKA (Association of Communication Agencies) and ASMEA (Association of Media Agencies). The main objective is to support the signpost http://www.stojimezaukrajinou.cz project, where people are given an opportunity to support Ukraine in numerous different ways – for instance, by financial contributions or by offering a free accommodation to Ukrainian refugees. “We had contacted representatives of the initiating agencies with an offer to join this campaign, and in connection, we decided to free up our commercial space in favour of their commercial spot on 14 of our thematic TV channels,” reveals Michaela Suráková. Commencing on 8th March, the campaign has been broadcasted on AMC, CS Film, CS History, CS Mystery, Film+, FilmBox, JOJ Cinema, JOJ Family, Rebel, Relax, Spektrum, Sport 1, Sport 2 and TV Paprika.
