Beginning 1st April, Atmedia sales house will expand its portfolio with the addition of AXN Black and AXN White, two series-focused TV channels. These will join the existing line-up of thematic channels currently available in the atmax, atadults, and atchoice sales packages. On the same date, both channels will be included in official TV viewership measurement, allowing Atmedia to sell their ad space using the GRP television currency.

‘The addition of AXN Black and AXN White to our portfolio further reinforces our partnership with Antenna Entertainment, owner of AXN brands in the CEE region. We’ve been representing their series-focused flagship TV channel, AXN, on the Czech market since 2008 – the year Atmedia first entered the market,’ says Michaela Suráková, Atmedia’s Managing Director. ‘We’re providing TV advertisers and media agencies with expanded advertising space for their campaigns, along with the chance to reach even more valuable target audiences,’ adds Robert Martiška, Atmedia’s Sales Director.

AXN Black primarily appeals to men aged 30–59, offering action, hero-driven, and sci-fi series such as Stargate, Renegades, National Treasure, S.W.A.T., and The Lost World. AXN White, on the other hand, targets women in the same age range, bringing romantic, dramatic, and relationship-themed series like Little House on the Prairie, Heartland, Saving Hope, Brousko, or Gran Hotel. AXN Black and AXN White are available through all major Pay-TV operators on the Czech market, including O2 TV, Vodafone TV, Magenta TV, and Skylink.

Atmedia Grows Its Portfolio to 20 Measured Thematic TV Channels

With the addition of AXN Black and AXN White, Atmedia now offers clients the opportunity to reach viewers across 20 measured thematic TV channels. Alongside Antenna Entertainment (AXN, AXN Black, and AXN White), Atmedia collaborates with media groups such as CANAL+ (CANAL+ Action, FilmBox, FilmBox Stars), Warner Bros. Discovery (Discovery Channel, Eurosport 1, TLC, Warner TV), and The Walt Disney Company (Disney Channel, National Geographic). Atmedia also represents local Czech TV channels such as Rebel and Relax, as well as channels from Československá filmová společnost (CS Film, CS History, CS Mystery) and Televize Seznam. The Slovak TV group JOJ (JOJ Cinema, JOJ Family) also plays a key role in Atmedia’s portfolio.
